7. Public Money

Testifying Before Federal, State or Local Government
The legislative body of a local agency, directly or through a representative, may attend the Legislature and Congress and present information to aid or prevent the passage of legislation beneficial or detrimental to the local agency. Local agency can pay proper cost and expense. (Cal Gov Code § 50023)
